Swimming and Golfing Next Week

June 21^st, 2012

Dear Parents,

We are winding down the school year and have a few activities that we will be involved in.

On Monday, June 25^th, and Tuesday  June 26^th,  the students can go golfing 9 holes at Wildwood Golf course.  Tee times on Monday for the boys are at 4:05, 4:12, and 4:19.  Tee times on Tuesday for the girls are at 3:37 and 3:58.    

Students are encouraged to be there at least 20 minutes early. They will need to find their own ride to the golf course.

On Wednesday afternoon,  we will be leaving for Harry Bailey pool for our last afternoon of swimming.  Students my use the diving board if they wish.

Golf Video - The Greatest Game Ever Played - This Friday

This Friday,  we will be watching the video, The Greatest Game Ever Played.  In PE, we are doing a unit on golf and with the U.S. Open golf tournament this week,  it is a good time to watch this video. 

The movie is rated both PG and G.

Social Studies Report Due Monday

Who is Nelson Mandela?  What did he do? 

The students are to research Nelson Mandela and find out what he did.  They are to write a 100-200 word report on him. 

CE Assignment - Deuteronomy Due Wednesday

The students are to research the meaning of the word Deuteronomy and write out the meaning and hand it in.
