Keyboarding Assignments FYI

There are still a number of students who are not completed all the keyboarding lessons.  The students were to complete the Touch Typing,   Junior Typing and  the Number Pad lessons. 

Ski Trip Video FYI

On the bus ride to Table Mountain we usually watch some videos.   Some of the potential videos are of Christian comedians (Tim Hawkins, Bob Smiley) and some will be PG movies.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.

Farewell to Dustin on Thursday Afternoon

On Thursday, March 29th,  Dustin will be moving away to a new school. We wish Dustin and his family God's blessing as they move and settle into their new surroundings. 

We are planning to have a farewell party for Dustin. The students are welcome to bring snack.  I will supply the juice boxes.  Students can bring board games and we will play them in the afternoon.

The students can choose an Accelerated Reader book that is within the students' reading level.

I. Include: Title Page, Published Date, Publishing Company, Author, Number of Pages, Chapters.

II. Who are the main Characters in the book?

III. Vocabulary – Find 5 words in the book that you do not know and list them and write the definition.

IV. Give a summary what the story is about. 100-200 words

V. What was your favorite scene in the book?

VI. What are some of the values that are evident in the book? (ie. respect, loyalty, courage, etc.)

VII. Would you recommend this book to someone else?

VIII. Complete the Accelerated Reader quizzes
